Philip Seager has worked in recruitment since 1997, with a focus specifically on corporate finance and equity research for the past 15 years. During this time Philip has developed close relationships with a broad range of clients and candidates, mainly in London, from small M&A boutiques to large international advisory boutiques and mid cap securities houses to large investment banks. While Philip has an outstanding record on retained work – getting to offer stage on every assignment – he also has the ability to work with individuals looking to change jobs on a proactive basis.

John Spry

John assisted in the set up of Alan Mitchell back in 2002 and has worked as a close advisor to the development of the company. He has detailed knowledge of the Recruitment and Corporate Finance sectors having spent over 25 years as FD of a leading accountancy group which included a Corporate Finance Boutique and an accountancy recruitment firm.

Sarah Seager

Sarah is one of the founding Directors of Alan Mitchell and is a qualified and experienced careers adviser with a successful background in investment banking and accountancy recruitment and executive search.  She has a unique contact network, understanding and insight into the career landscape of the banking and accountancy sectors as well as proven career management skills to apply to all sectors.  She has worked with many high-level individuals to support and advise them through career changes, progression plans, job applications and interview processes. Each client is an individual and she works with them on that basis employing coaching, guidance and counselling techniques that are relevant to their requirements and situation.

Having started her career in HR after graduation Sarah previously worked at Michael Page where she progressed from trainee through to branch manager with its sister company Accountancy Additions, where she worked with candidates of all levels recruiting into financial institutions and commercial companies, before co-founding Alan Mitchell in 2002.

Bina is an experienced consultant and works in our Corporate Finance team predominantly covering M&A and with specific sector coverage of TMT, FIG and Healthcare. She is a graduate from Brunel University and has been in recruitment since 2004 covering the accountancy market place previously working with Blue Chip companies across London to build their Finance Teams. Bina joined Alan Mitchell in June 2015 and has quickly developed her understanding of the Corporate Finance market as well as utilising her excellent relationship building and networking skills to forge strong candidate lines and job opportunities from clients. Bina is a genuine safe pair of hands for anyone looking to make a career move – she takes the time to really get to know her candidates and actively works on their behalf to source the right opportunity for them. Her commitment to providing an honest and thorough service to all her clients also ensures a strong success rate in finding the right individuals to join their teams.

Kathy Lambert

Kathy started her career in recruitment in 1999 working extensively with Engineering Consultancies in the water industry. This fast -paced contractor environment developed her key skillset and she was quickly promoted to head up her own divisions.

Kathy approaches every candidate with curiosity and a genuine desire to build long term relationships. With a keen interest in career development she is driven to explore potential opportunities and offer guidance.

Her transparent and open nature puts candidates at ease. A commitment to facilitating their career move is evident in all her communications. Kathy’s belief that if a candidate is willing to share their aspirations, you are in the privileged position of responsibility to help with their search.

Networking fascinates her, helping to build a picture of not only the candidate but the culture of the client and the surrounding team.

Kathy is also a Director of their family construction company. Her business exposure makes her acutely aware of the importance of nurturing and sustaining client relationships.
