NEW Credit Analyst opportunity: responsible for analytical development of Asset Management function; Provides financial analytics tosupport overall fund management, including significant focus on financial modelling / analysis of existing and new potential investments as well as supporting on-going performance reporting, monitoring, servicer engagement, transaction execution and fundraising.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Asset Management
· Development of Asset Management analytics across all portfolios and asset types
· Maintenance and on-going development of models used to review / analyse performance, refine key assumptions,re-forecast cash flowsand update valuations
· Monitor and analyse credit and servicer performance of portfolio investments, including adherence to forecasts and key covenants tests where applicable
· Deliver analytics to support optimisation of performance, aimed at improving returns as well as managing risks where applicable
· Monitor and assist in the preparation of internal and investor reports
Investment Analysis and Transactional Support
· Build financial models to assess the value and evaluate risk of potential investments, incorporating asset based cash flow and credit risk analysis
· Prepare investment analysis, including asset level analysis and risk based simulations for presentation to internal and external constituents
· Participate in financial and operational due diligence and prepare reports on target investments
· Provide wider transactional support, including procurement of leverage, co-investment and overall structuring and execution
· Assist in wider market research and review of potential investments
· Assist in fundraising efforts
Qualifications and Experience:
· University graduate in an analytical/mathematically / computer science related subject with a minimum of a 2:1 pass
· Minimum 3 years financial analysis experience/training in a financial institution in a highly analytical role
· Experience inprivate equity / illiquid credit investing, corporate and/or structured finance
· Applied knowledge/experiencebuilding bespoke financial models in FI, credit and/or asset-based finance
· Applied knowledge of the financial services industry
· Applied knowledge of statistics and basic accounting principles
· Strong Excel capabilities (including VBA coding)
· Ideally Access / SQL knowledge
· Strong Word and Power Point skills
· CFA candidacy
